Theoretical and experimental study of the mechanical properties of bicomponent metal vapor deposited coatings

Abstract

The mechanical properties of wear-resistant bicomponent In and Al coatings have been studied. It has been shown that two-layer coatings are characterized by plastic deformation, and a bicomponent coating is deformed elastically.
