Abstract
The horizontal and vertical angular divergences of relativistic electron beams passing through a foil and reflected by a foil are experimentally measured. The effect of the angle between the electron beam and the foil plane on the intensity and angular divergence of beams is studied. The interaction of particles with a copper foil 50 μm thick and aluminum foil 200 μm thick is studied. A microtron with a particle energy of 7.4 MeV is used as an electron source.
