Simulation of the Thermoluminescence Isothermal Decay Curves in Al2O3–BeO Ceramics Taking into Account the Energy Distribution of Trapping Centers

Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

It is found that the energy distribution of traps in Al2O3–BeO dosimetric ceramics is described by the exponential function. It is shown that taking into account this distribution when simulation isothermal decay curves within the classical thermoluminescence model causes an anomalous effect of a decrease decay rate with increasing temperature.
