Determining the relaxation constants of a molecular gas in a continuous laser field

Abstract

The processes of collisional relaxation in 13CH3F polar gas are considered, and the nonmonotonous character of the dependence of the signal of delayed optical nutations on the duration of the Stark field is explained. A damping constant is introduced for the matrix of optical coherence.
