Abstract

An approach based on analysis of acoustic loads, which makes it possible to use the experimentally obtained characteristics of sound insulation to find its characteristics under conditions of a heavy load, is presented. As a result, data are obtained that confirm the change in the sound insulation of different structural panels when the external acoustic pressure is transferred beneath an experimental panel; at the same time, there are general features in the parameters of the acoustic pressure drop. The revealed features made it possible to study the sound insulation of three experimental samples under their in-service acoustic loading.
