Abstract

The fundamental principles of engineering sciences, namely, the development of completely new technical solutions in the field of creating woodsawing machines that multiply the advantages and eliminate the disadvantages of existing sawmill equipment while simultaneously solving the problems of automating woodworking processes, are considered. The design features of the developed equipment allow not only automating the main processes of obtaining high-quality sawn timber, such as board, parquet, and slat, but also robotizing them. The presence of negative feedback between feed forces and counter-forces to the blade movement during cutting (sawing) eliminates blade snaking and leads to a high level of accuracy of sawn timber with a high-quality processed surface.
