Abstract
The problem of determining the one-dimensional distribution laws of the dynamic characteristics of a nonlinear mechanical system under stationary or quasi-stationary external influences is considered. Using the method of moments, applied to a statistically linearized system and special transformations, non-Gaussian distribution laws of dynamic characteristics are determined. The boundaries of the regions of their spread at given probabilities of hitting the area are calculated. The results are illustrated by an example.
