Abstract

High harmonic generation of Hydrogen is investigated under the action of two-color and three-color laser field. Effect of relative strengths of different components of the laser field as well as the plasma environment on the strength of different harmonics is shown. The pseudostate summation technique is used for the calculation of energy eigenvalues and wavefunctions of free and plasma-embedded hydrogen. The time evolution of wavefunctions is performed using the Symplectic method. Numerical simulation is performed for the study undertaken, and results are presented.
