Abstract

The widths of the decays \(\tau \rightarrow K^- K^+ K^- \nu _\tau \) and \(\tau \rightarrow K^- K^0 \bar{K}^0 \nu _\tau \) are calculated in the \(U(3)\times U(3)\) chiral quark NJL model. Four channels are considered: contact, axial vector, vector, and pseudoscalar channels. It is shown that the dominant contribution is given by the axial vector channel with an intermediate \(\phi \) meson. The results obtained are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.
