Abstract.

In this work, we investigate the production of the \(\Delta (1232)\)-resonance in the \(K^{+}p\rightarrow K^{0}\pi^{+}p\) reaction within an effective Lagrangian approach. Especially, we explore the \(\rho\) exchange considering two kinds of \(\Delta N\rho\) couplings and the \(\Sigma\) exchange contributions. It is found that the angular distribution of the final K0 and the spin state of the produced \(\Delta (1232)\) are sensitive to the production mechanisms and the characters can be used to distinguish the mechanisms of this reaction.
