The modified Woods-Saxon potential in the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau equation

Abstract

The scattering properties of the one-dimensional Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau (DKP) equation are studied for the modified Woods-Saxon potential. The scattering wave function, explicit formulas for the transmission and reflection coefficients are obtained in terms of hypergeometric function.
