Prospects for medical and pharmaceutical personnel using interactive information in assisting geriatric patients

Abstract

The authors substantiate the necessity of information exchange among medical and pharmaceutical personnel in providing health services to elderly people. The mandatory conditions for implementing information exchange are defined and a conceptual model is proposed for interactive information between medical organizations and pharmacies. This model reflects the recommended divisions, types of information, sender information (doctor or pharmacist), information consumers, and the aim of using information included in an individual division. The possibilty of implementing the concept is considered with a case study of the Perm region.
