Abstract

This paper investigates the effect of the fibrous composition of blended fabrics and the relative humidity of the environment on their hygroscopicity. Blended fabric samples included fabrics “cotton (c) + viscose (v)” 0.155 × 10–3 m thick and “cotton (c) + polyester (p)” 0.183 × 10–3 m and 0.33 × 10–3 m thick with various fibrous compositions and size of (50 × 300) × 10–3.
