Polymer Materials Containing Calсium Phosphates for Medicine: Part II. Chitosan and Polyvinylpyrrolidone Containing Calcium Phosphates (Review)

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials: Applied Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The review deals with chitosan and polyvinylpyrrolidone and its composite materials with calcium phosphates for medical application. The approaches to obtain the composite materials from chitosan and polyvinylpyrrolidone containing nanosized calcium phosphates are examined, and their physicochemical and biological properties and the areas of possible application are discussed.
