Abstract
The results of long-term monitoring (1974–2013) of a model population of Homogyne alpina (L.) Cass. (Asteraceae) during mutational changes on the Carpathian subalpine meadows have been summarized. Patterns of structural transformation and self-regulation principles of this population have been determined. The special role of micropopulations in the formation of plant generations and the preservation of the heterogeneity of population elements is determined.
