Abstract

The silane cross linking of polyethylene and the parameters affecting the structure and degree of cross linking of the polymer have been studied; as well as the optimal conditions for the processing of cross-linked polyethylene have been established. The influence of the content of ethylene vinyl acetate on the technological properties, thermal deformation and the degree of cross linking of silane-based cross-linked polyethylene is investigated.
