Aromatic Polyethersulfones with Improved Physical and Mechanical Indices

Abstract

Modified aromatic polyethersulfones containing dichloroethylene and arylate groups in the main chain are synthesized. The kinetics of the synthesis of polyethersulfones by acceptor-catalytic polycondensation is studied. It is shown that the properties of the obtained polymers depend on the ratio of the initial monomers. The presence of two chlorine atoms in combination with an unsaturated bond in the initial monomer imparts high fire resistance and good physicochemical indices to the polyethersulfones based on it.
