Abstract

Effectiveness of the application of a 3D-printed plastic boluses for electron beam therapy is studied. Boluses are custom-made items intended to provide a required depth distribution of the absorbed dose. Limitations of currently used standard boluses are their simple form, fragility, and complex production. The approach proposed eliminates these disadvantages.
