Abstract

The reaction of the elastic electron-deuteron scattering is considered within the Bethe–Salpeter approach with separable kernel of interaction. A consistent description of the Mandelstam current obtaining is given. The structure of matrix elements of the deuteron electromagnetic relativistic two-body interaction current is studied in details. All technicalities are thoroughly considered.
