Abstract

A complex study of the porous-structural and sorption characteristics of the synthetic analog of paulingite (Pau) and its decationated form (H+-Pau) has been performed. The synthesized samples were studied using the methods of X-ray diffraction, IR absorption spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and benzene adsorption. The parameters of the samples porous structure have been determined. The zeolites’ water absorption and lead(II) sorption capacities have been investigated.
