This paper considers the methodological approaches to measuring the sustainability of development of socioecological and economic systems. It presents the results from assessing the sustainability of development of the Russian Federation in 2005–2011 using the suggested system of dynamic indicators, in which different private dynamic characteristics of the economic, ecological, and social development components are in a certain subordinate order.
