Physicochemical characteristics of furfural-based activated carbons and application of these in sorption of cyclohexane

Abstract

Morphology, structure, and elemental composition of sorbents produced from furfural, with the subsequent carbonization and activation, were studied. Their sorption and service characteristics were determined. The sorption absorption of cyclohexane from air on the sorbents was examined.
