Abstract

A series of ruthenium(II) complexes have been prepared by using 3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazine derivatives as one of the ligands in addition to 2,2′-bipyridine auxiliary ligands. The UV/Vis properties of the obtained complexes have been investigated.
