Abstract

The technical legal acts that regulate the quality and safety parameters of mineral waters out were analyzed. Seven samples of mineral waters produced in Belarus, Russia, and Georgia were studied. Analysis for heavy metals (Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, and Hg) was performed by stripping voltammetry, for sulfates, by spectrophotometry, and for total mineralization, by conductometry. The pH values were measured by direct potentiometry. Comparative safety assessment of packaged mineral waters was performed.
