Abstract

The previously unknown mono- and dibromo derivatives of 2-amino-5-(2-aryl-2-oxo-ethylidene)-4-oxo-1H-4,5-dihydrofuran-3-carboxylic acids were synthesized. Antinociceptive and antimicrobial activity of the obtained compounds was studied.
