Abstract

Published and our own data on the concentrations of phosphorus and nitrogen compounds and organic matter in the Sheksna reach of the Rybinsk reservoir have been analyzed, and the state of different areas of the reach has been assesses. Over the past three decades, no substantial variations in the concentrations of biogenic elements have been observed, while the organic matter content (organic carbon) has increased considerably.
