Features of complex formation between semiquinone radicals and copper ions

Abstract

Complex formation between copper ions and semiquinone radicals stabilizes the radicals, increases their concentration, and promotes their participation in the electron transport. The complex formation changes the system redox potential and facilitates the electron transfer.
