Abstract
A concept of designing an advanced surface movement guidance and control system (A–SMGCS) and algorithms for an onboard integrated navigation system are proposed. The main purpose is to enhance the aerodrome capacity and increase the safety of motion of ground vehicles and aircraft in the aerodrome. The structure of the system and its components, mathematical models, and algorithms of the onboard integrated navigation system are described. Simulation results for the basic properties of the system are presented.
