Geometrized Theory of Potential Relativistic Electron Beams

Abstract—

A geometrical model of three-dimensional potential relativistic electron beams in an external magnetic field has been constructed in the coordinate system associated with previously unknown current tubes when using the generalized pulse potential as the longitudinal coordinate of the action. For two-dimensional flows, the decomposition of the beam equations has been carried out, which makes it possible to synthesize non-paraxial flows with a given cathode shape and distribution of the emission current density or electric field.
