Abstract

A morphological description of the deep-sea skate Bathyraja spinosissima (Arhynchobatidae) from Russian waters is provided. Information on the measurable characters, the structure of the neurocranium, scapulocoracoid, and pterygopodia, and the counts of abdominal and caudal vertebrae, pectoral fin rays, teeth rows, and spiral valve coils is reported.
