Chemical differentiation of silver(I), gold(I), and palladium(II) complexes with dipropyl disulfide groups covalently bound to a silica surface and Michler’s thioketone in solid-phase spectrophotometry

Abstract

A method is proposed for the adsorption-photometric determination of silver, gold, and palladium from one sample as their mixed-ligand complexes with dipropyl disulfide groups covalently bound to a silica surface and Michler’s thioketone, based on the measurement of the intensity of the adsorbent color, decreasing after treatment with destructive agents. The method is used for the determination of gold and palladium in the copper-nickel sludge.
