Abstract

A method for testing the amount of cement in products made of cement–sand mixture based on the parameters of elastic-plastic insertion of a spherical indenter is described. It is shown that for materials made of cement–sand mixture in a sufficiently wide range of variation in the depth of residual prints and contact loads during the insertion of a spherical indenter, a linear dependence of the residual print depth on the load is valid. This has made it possible to use the regularities of plastic hardness for the developed testing method.
