Abstract
Malécot’s model of isolation by distance was used to describe the population structure of the population of North Ossetia-Alania based on 12 308 marriage records for a population of the rank of “republic.” A number of positive correlations were obtained with the results of previous studies. The difference between the Mozdoksky district and other districts of the republic is confirmed.
