Conformally Flat Charged Static Spherically Symmetric Space-Time for a Spinning Fluid

  • Published:

Abstract

We study a conformally flat charged static spherically symmetric space-time for a spinning fluid within the Einstein–Cartan theory. We also discuss the physical interpretation of a conformally flat, static solution to the Einstein–Maxwell equations. We have obtained an exact interior solution and investigated the pressure, spin-torsion and energy density assuming a pure charge condition, and then for a specific charge distribution.
