Dimensions and Orientation of Triton X-100 Micelles in Aqueous Solutions, According to Turbidimetric Data

Abstract

The size and orientation of micelles of nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 in aqueous solutions is determined turbidimetrically. It is shown that micelles are elongated ellipsoids which change their orientation with respect to incident light, depending on the concentration of the solution.
