Effect of the sorption of polyoxyethylated nonylphenols on the surface structure of potassium polytitanate

Abstract

The sorption of nonionic surfactants (polyoxyethylated nonylphenols with different numbers of oxyethyl groups (NF-12, NF-100)), on a potassium polytitanate surface is studied under different conditions of sorption, concentrations of modifier, and acidities of suspension. Quantitative characteristics of sorption are calculated from the kinetic dependences of the concentration of nonylphenols on time. Treating potassium polytitanate with nonylphenols reduces the agglomeration of potassium polytitanate particles and improve their dispersity.
