Abstract

The molar heat capacities of dysprosium orthovanadate DyVO4 in the range 366–1034 K have been determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Thermodynamic functions (enthalpy, entropy, and reduced Gibbs energy) of DyVO4 have been calculated from smoothed heat capacities.
