Abstract
Revised solubility data in the KNO3 + NH4Cl ⇆ KCl + NH4NO3-H2O quaternary reciprocal system at 25 and 40°C are presented. The effect of accompanying ions on the sizes of crystallization fields of potassium chloride and ammonium chloride solid solutions in the NaCl-NH4Cl-KCl-H2O, KNO3 + NH4Cl ⇆ KCl + NH4NO3-H2O, and 2KCl + (NH4)2Cr2O7 ⇆ 2NH4Cl + K2Cr2O7-H2O systems is analyzed.
