Abstract
It is shown that the quantity of mass loss can be used as a universal parameter to describe the thermophysical properties of volatile products released during low-temperature pyrolysis of biomass. The results of calculations of the specific heat, heat of combustion, stoichiometric coefficient, density, and adiabatic combustion temperature of the volatile products of two types of wood biomass are presented.
