Abstract
Samples of diesel fuel derived from Azerbaijan crude oils have been the object of research. Laboratory studies have been carried out on a 60Co γ-radiation source at a dose rate of P = 0.10–0.18 Gy/s in the absorbed dose range of D = 15–150 kGy. The results of chromatographic and IR spectroscopic analysis are presented. The concentrations and radiation-chemical yields of the resulting gases have been determined. The density, viscosity, and iodine numbers of the fuel samples have been determined before and after gamma-irradiation at various absorbed doses, and their radiation resistance has been estimated.
