A Review of the Encyrtid-Wasp Genus Zaplatycerus Timberlake, 1925 (Hymenoptera, Chalcidoidea: Encyrtidae) of the World Fauna, Parasitoids of Mealybugs (Hemiptera, Pseudococcidae)

Abstract

The article provides information about the genus Zaplatycerus Timberlake, 1925, a key to the females of its 16 species of the world fauna, and their synopsis with data on the distribution and hosts. Neoplatycerus tshernyshevi Trjapitzin, 2011 from Australia is transferred to Zaplatycerus as Z. tshernyshevi (Trjapitzin, 2011), comb. n.Neoplatycerus tshernyshevi Trjapitzin, 2013 is synonymized under Z. tshernyshevi (Trjapitzin, 2011), syn. n.
