Abstract

If you have read this book from beginning to end, it is likely you have been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of ACT research. By now, with a coffee in your hand and a headache, you might feel pretty satisfied with the evidence base. However, although great strides have been made by ACT researchers in the past 30 years, there is still much to do, as we hope to illustrate in this chapter, where we will break down this book into figures. It is important to note that the figures you see presented in this chapter are not “the” figures, as we have likely not found some investigations and as we have been unable to translate research written in languages other than English. Rather these pages will present trends that only take into account the research in this volume.
