Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to show the particular Italian approach to humanistic management. Over the last 20 years I have developed this approach in collaboration not only with several managers, consultants, economists, but also philosophers, writers and artists like Milo Manara, Luigi Serafini and the Nobel Prize winner Wislawa Szymborska. The approach is multidisciplinary to understanding the complex, liquid nature of the contemporary firm and society, as an alternative to the ‘solid’ presence of the pervasive scientific management.
