Abstract

This paper obtains new exact bright and singular optical soliton solutions in nonlinear negative-index materials with conformable time fractional derivatives in the presence of a Bohm potential. The inclusion of a Bohm potential produces quantum phase behavior in electromagnetic waves. The integration algorithm used is the \(\exp (-\varphi ({\chi })\)) method. Singular periodic, combined hyperbolic and explicit solutions fall out during the derivation. The constraint conditions for the existence of these solutions also emerge as a byproduct of this scheme.
