Abstract

The last three years have been very productive times for flow cytometry as the goldrush in single cell technologies drove technical developments in the field. New assays, better sequencing paired with simpler cell sorters, high-dimensional flow cytometric instruments like CyTOF or the 30 color FACSymphony and a vast expansion of the fluorescent dyes market have driven research and development to new heights of complexity. This increased complexity is now driving new developments in analysis with quite some very useful and amicable goodies for the common flow cytometrist.
