Abstract
Gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) is one of the problems encountered in surgical practices. The aetiology is of various types, but GOO occurring secondary to heterotopic pancreas (HP) is rare, which is often not thought of but would come as a surprise. The cause for GOO due to heterotopic pancreas is very rare and should be kept in mind as one of the differentials while treating a patient with GOO.
