Abstract
Exomphalos major in adolescence is a rare congenital defect of anterior abdominal wall associated with evisceration of abdominal organs and loss of abdominal domain. A 14-year-old young lady presented with neglected exomphalos major. She was treated by tri-mordial approach of prosthetic mesh repair associated with component separation and shoelace technique after reviewing different standard techniques. Postoperatively, the patient did not develop abdominal compartment syndrome or ventral hernia. Plastic and reconstructive surgery improves functional and aesthetic outcome. It also reduces postoperative complications.
