Abstract

The thermonuclear rate of the \(^{7}\)Be(\(p,\gamma \))\(^{8}\)B reaction was calculated using the effective field theory (EFT) and coupled-channel formalism, considering the contribution of the excited nuclei \(^{7}\)Be* up to the N\(^2\)LO. We also investigated how the \(1^+\) resonance affects the reaction rate. Our conclusions from this process were consistent with the known experimental data and the results of other theoretical methods.
