Generation of magnetic inhomogeneities at solitary ferromagnet defects

Abstract

In the framework of micromagnetic theory, we develop a general approach to the problem of determining conditions for generating a magnetic inhomogeneity at uniaxial ferromagnet defects. We establish that for the same material parameters, two types of magnetic inhomogeneities corresponding to the zero-degree domain wall and having different amplitudes can form at solitary defects. We find diagrams of their existence and show that the obtained regularities of inhomogeneity generation have a general character independent of the form of the chosen defect model.
