Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Given the complexity of the tests and the ambiguity of the experimental and calculated estimates of the pile load capacity of collapsible soils, a method for determining it is proposed on the basis of the results of tests of soils with natural moisture content without insulation of piles within the collapsible thickness. The method decreases the cost and time of testing and increases the accuracy of the results.
